which is better a garmin handheld or a magellan handheld?

I am looking into buying a relatively cheap handheld gps for geocaching, boating, hiking, and hunting. If i get a magellan it will either be the explorist 210 or the 500le if i go with garmin it will be the etrex legend, or the etrex legend hcx. What do you guys think?

1. Garmin for sure. I have an etrex legend myself and love it. I have had a couple friends who owned magellan's and the cases broke. Although they were still on warranty, magellan would not honour it.
2. Garmin truly is better....have had lots of GPS experience. Best of luck and enjoy the adventures!
